It was great to have the entire season in one collection, especially seeing how I already owned seasons 1 and 2 on Blu-Ray already. Well, the folks over at Warner Bros Home Entertainment have just released this final season on one Blu-Ray disc. To add insult to injury, the final season only got 13 episodes, while the previous 2 had 26. So when it was announced that season 3 would be the final season, I, like a lot of fans was really disappointed. Plus the entire show was heavily influenced by the Dick Sprang era of Batman. But at the same time, not dumbing things down to the audience. Plus the overall tone of the show was light, not heavy. The episodes made references to the Golden Age, Silver Age, the Batman ’66 TV show, and even the modern age.

And there were so many Easter Eggs in this series, it appealed to just about any fan of DC Comics.

A lot of them were B-listers, but this show really breathed new life into them. Most of the characters teamed up weren’t A-listers. What was so amazing about this show is how deep into the DC Universe it went. Batman: The Brave And The Bold was a great show that teamed up Batman with a different character each week.
